Despite it's critics you've gotta love Thursday night footy. It always reminds me of that clip from...

Why the AFL didn’t mandate that they carve out 5 rows from that centre wing area on both side beggars belief. There is no load bearing structure there and at most will reduce the stadium capacity by a max 500 ppl.

The AFL are happy to force Tasmania to spend a billion odd dollars to build a new stadium. I wish they had of done that for Geelong, it’s a shocking stadium.

Much to my dislike, Chris Scott is a great coach. Has completely transformed his team this quarter!

This is could be something I was looking forward to to becoming be a mare for the dogs. Is there rain on the horizon?

Eight frees to three . No prizes for guessing which favor.

Two almost identical handball over the boundary line. One deemed 'insufficient intent', one called 'throw it in'. No guess as to which team is which

The teams jumpers are doing me head in. Footescray look like Jeelong and vies versa 🫣🥴

I turned it on and thought - Port Adelaide v Freo.

Dogs are getting sucked into contests and trying to play on without thinking, handballing to know one in a good position.

Dogs a rabble at the moment.

My ‘I hate Geelong’ goggles have ruined my tipping again 😂

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
