Fatigue incoming…………

Bombers to get the first couple of goals in the last qtr. Probably in the first two minutes.

I’ve read this book before.

Not the first and won't be the last to vomit then laugh repeatedly when called out. It's a cheap trick, like rage quitting.

Won't be round long, they never are.

How much do the boys believe?

Let’s see how bad they want this win. The first 30 seconds and you’ll know.

Last quarters have been our worst all year. This will be fascinating.

I hope May roasted himself for that.

Side note - umpiring has been noticeably rubbish this round.

It's rubbish every round. Just consistently favours the same few teams.

Much better quarter

If we play like that in the last we will win easily. But what are the odds of that?

Umpires getting involved, that was a mark for May if that was the Bombers it would have been paid.

How about the Milkshake he’s great isn’t he!?!

At least there was some effort and attitude that quarter. Is it too little too late?

Need the same application in the last.

At least that quarter was watchable. We might pull this off, but watching us is a total gut wrench.

And well done Fritsch - to step up like that was outstanding. You too Milkshake and Spargs.

Hat off to Trac in that quarter busted his gut. Lifted the side.

Like the Perkins one? Clearly dropped.

My advice. Don’t look at emoji responses. Some ppl get frills for baiting you. Frankly don’t invest to your posts on game day threads - ppl are emotion wrecks … like me..

Was hoping so bad that we could hold out there and not have lucky break situation for them like that.

This season is showing we fall away when faced with this situation but the what if is strong.

Please just don't concede 3 centre clearances in a row.

Anyone else love when Kozzi took his mark he looked at the bloke on him with complete disdain

hilarious

Shorter kicks = goals. Players leading up = goals. Players that can kick into F50 = goals.

Until they pull out the 'not 15' card. Honestly, you can't beat em.

Still sprayed it everywhere.

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
