And they'll get it because they are good negotiators, demand a ridiculous amount, don't roll over and end up getting less than they asked for but more than it's worth.

Ignore them paying pick 10 and 34 for Lachie Schultz and giving Ginnivan away for nothing last year.

Agree, that's the reason Petracca's not there next year right there.

Because they were fleeced by noted masters of trading and negotiation ..... Fremantle. 😁

If the club dies maybe they will be rewarded in heaven.

Don't Demons go the other way?

Reckon they overvalued Schultz and got played by the best in the business at barrel rolling. Sneaking suspicion they let Ginny go for ... uh ... cultural reasons *ducks for cover*

If Collingwood were giving away players for cultural reasons they should’ve had a fire sale! There’s quite a few they could’ve traded for the same reasons!

This is a good move for North. Will help take a lot of pressure off Larky, who is already a star. Add in Parker, and I reckon North will finally make some inroads in 2025.

Huge gets for North. Especially Parker, still got at least a couple of years left.

Light at the end of the tunnel for the Roos.

Also ignore them getting rid of players like Treloar and Grundy while still paying large amounts of their salary.

Jeez that’s a high price in a reputed strong draft. I’d say 10 is overs.

There would have to be a 2nd rd pick going back to Freo, otherwise it's a massive overpay. Tigers will end up with heaps of 1st rd picks, so it would be easy for them to give away a 2nd rder.

Anyone monitoring the Pies salary cap.

Pendles, Howe, Sidebottom, Cox Etc still going around and would on decent contracts

Whilst Adams walked last year, the only player who left from their best 22 from the premiership team was Murphy.

And now departures are only Noble (again a former mid season rookie on limited $$) & Joe Richards would again be on minimum type contract

Over past 2 years adding in serious $$$s for Tom Mitchell, Bobby Hill, Mcstay, Schultz, … now Perryman and now right in the frame for Houston.

Lots of youngsters also on rising $$$ too like the Daicos boys and quaynor.

I know the salary cap is going up and up, but whilst the Dees have stagnated, Pies appear to be picking up more and more players on serious $$ as additions without much going out.  😭😭

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
