Horrible defending by Sydney. Flashbacks to the days of Garland and Rivers spoiling each other.

Thanks for that.  A much needed memory ... not.

I still recall a young Clazz sticking it to Garland one Sat arvo vs the Hawks at Box Hill.

"Lazy defending mate, how about getting on your bike" 😬  And there was more than one bake that arvo lol

True. And i'm a big fan of Toby Greene

but papley rubs it in. the way he celebrated and carried on after conned the ump for the first free and goal was very distasteful for me.

Yeh he is one of the worst at that.  And he doesn't need to keep bringing that rubbish so often.  He's good enough to just get on with things surely

Hogan, Cadman, Greene and Jones are a handful and are going to be hard to stop for the next 2-3 years.

Based on todays performance if Peatling is available we would be negligent not to try to sign him up

This is what finals footy is all about.

Whoever you're barracking for this is a cracker.

What a goal Ward!

Cal Ward kicks a nice goal, commentator (think it was Ling) then says, “some times you can’t just buy experience”. What does that even mean?

Amazing finish JJ

The AFL need to start paying a free kick against if you drop your knees like that. Someone will end up in a wheelchair.

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.

It's Game Day, and reinforcements are finally arriving for the Demons—but will it be too little, too late? They're heading down the freeway to face a Cats side returning home to their fortress after two straight losses, desperate to reignite their own season. Can the Demons breathe new life into their campaign, or will it slip even further from their grasp?

  • PREVIEW: Geelong

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
