i would love Peter Jackson to do the review

What would Jackson & Roos be thinking after laying down the foundations and watching it collapse!  There was footage of when Roos telling Petracca your playing your first senior game and the look on face of joy… what has become of our club???

We won a flag. It wasn’t that long ago, not yet 3 years in fact. Take a breath.

roos was on abc afl daily and said he thinks trac and the club have handled it beautifully by NOT making any comment

if nothing happens on the trade front, everyone has kept quiet and not besmirched anyone else on the record

My point is trac joy of getting his first game vs his current position

Yes, this speculation has piqued my interest. Firstly Tracc is my favourite Demon, actually my favourite non-Blue footballer. Was saddened to hear of his issues with MFC and looking to leave ...

... then I hear Carlton talked about as possibly the primary destination ... now my interest levels are sky high ...

Don't really frequent Insta but I do take an interest in things culinary actually, dabble in the kitchen sometimes,  so maybe I should check out Tracc's handiwork, how is he with Asian cuisines, does he make Som Tum Pla Ra (love salted crabs)? 😁

Think Tracc might have to take a salary haircut if he really wants to catch the 19 Tram up Royal Parade though. I think Carlton could rustle up the money inside the cap but if there is a disparity with other Carlton stars that is a problem.

I get your interest big fella, I would too if the situation was reversed. I enjoyed bantering with you.

FYI, it ain’t gonna happen without losing one of your top 3 players and your first pick. Not inside knowledge, just recognising Trac is special. As you have acknowledged.

Btw, your club have been perineal losers for decades and have continue this theme currently. You have the list, but continue to be losers and underwhelm. lol 😂😂😂😂

It took a Melbourne immortal to get you going in Barassi in the 1960/70’s.  Trac ain’t Barassi. Trac is showing himself being about his brand, if true.. the Kardassians have more weight in this area.

Good luck to you in finals. I hope you get smashed (I say with respect)

Another take on this whole debacle:

Was his ego hurt when he didnt get all the love and devotion from the playing group, media etc in the immediate period after his injury? I remember not hearing anything from Trac for quite some time.

Has this then translated into a hissy fit following the realisation that he isn't the centre of attention at the club and everything that has followed is essentially a pre-adolescent outburst of emotion. This is likely further fueled through jealousy on how the club has rallied around Oliver.

Petracca has said it was his decision to return to the field after he was hurt, and backed his care from the Melbourne doctors. However, according to several teammates, he believes he was not contacted enough in the fortnight following the collision.

Collingwood ruckman Mason Cox, who suffered a similar – albeit nowhere near as serious – spleen injury in the previous season, reached out to offer the name of the specialist he saw during his rehabilitation.

Moore, who is a friend of Petracca’s, also checked in on him.

Meeting in a popular public location like Max's wine bar seems like a great idea after all the press this has been getting lately.

This could be a work.

As big a work as the Montreal Screwjob?

Hopefully they don't work themselves into a shoot.

If anyone should have checked in on him it's Moore.

Talked to someone on Tuesday, who can be a good Pies/Dees source of info, and I asked him about Trac. He said what do you mean, how he got hurt? And I said I’m surprised I thought you would be all over the issue. He said he would rather B. Smith. Took it on face value. But after seeing that Eddie clip, I’m a bit suspicious. Sorry for the bad grammar lol.

Yep, I don’t understand. Can you elaborate?

Combine this with the Collingwood players concerned about him when he came back onto the field while allegedly our skipper was having a crack at him (not sure what for, making an error, not going hard enough?) you can start to see why he'd be thinking my own teammates care more about the game than my wellbeing while the Collingwood players seem genuinely concerned. Being isolated from the club while processing the trauma wouldn't help with those thoughts either.

Trac will need to drop the belt before trade week.

I was lucky enough to be at our 2021 GF win and also to attend a function with the players the following day.
Most of the players I met were such good blokes. However, I’m not surprised about the situation we find ourselves in with Christian after my experience that day. I wish it wasn’t that way but would hope that we now find the best trade available for our list.

Forget the peripheral noise, let’s get on with it. Our club is the greatest football club in the world.

Irrelevant note but the nicest blokes I met that day were Clarrie, Jake Lever and Steven May. They were amazing people who understood the meaning of a premiership to long suffering supporters.

I just want to give Clarry a big hug after this whole issue. I can't imagine how it's making him feel.

Hold on - I thought I had it but now not so sure…

could be

eao - spoken by environmental scientists, or those outsourcing applications

ebo - short for Ebola (harsh)

edo - capital of Japan 🇯🇵 and associated cuisine.

eeo - equal employment opportunity. ???- don’t think he’s disadvantaged??

efo - earnings from operations (self expl). But also a type of African spinach!

ego - it’s not a dirty word - don’t you believe what you’ve seen or you’ve heard.

eho - environmental health officer. Also, ‘hey’ in Spanish 🇪🇸

eio - usually used here and there with a preceding ‘quack, quack and ei’. Ask TMac. Also possibly a bus connection.

ejò - snake.
éjò - burnt rubble or ash / burnt bacon (both Espérantos - and, oddly, could work for some).

eko - Nigerian dish made from corn/cornstarch.

elo - don’t bring me down (groos).

emo - less dark than goth.

eno - handy after a dodgy vindaloo or night on the turps. Can be taken orally, or listened to in a dark room.

eoo - only said by environmental scientists, or after tasting something particularly bad.

epo - can’t find any? I’ll call my bombres mate.

eqo - also said by environmental scientists. Or playing the round ball game.

ero - see eeo. Also something to do with boats.

eso - handy in an emergency. Not sure if we have one?

eto - Ahh. Could be many things, usually estimated, including ‘time off’.

euo - you’re under (Ken)oath.

evo - usually found with rice(-rs)

ewo - could be educational - could be warfare. Who knows?

exo - pricey. On the outer. K-Pop. ??

eyo - Nigerian festival

ezo - ‘land of the barbarians’. Believed to refer currently to the AIA centre, and previously Vic park.

So, a lot of them work  - to varying degrees.

good to see you've narrowed it down ... don't forget the acronyms and abbreviations

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
