Howes out - Lever in

Chandler out - ANW in

surely Chandler can’t keep underperforming for 10 weeks and keep getting a game

Lever for Tomlinson.

McAdam's been underwhelming but at least he'll try to chase and tackle. We simply can't cop Fritsch's ongoing efforts and whatever that disaster was on Saturday night. Seriously, why keep tolerating such below par efforts in the hope they change rather than do something proactice?

AMW for whom? Bowey? Howes? Salem? They all have to be options. Or play him as sub. Kynan Brown can go back to Casey and push his case for a full game when he's more ready.

Agree with all your points except the last. You cannot debut a guy as sub who is a father / son and passionate demon supporter, bring him on with 8 minutes to go, busts his [censored] unlike some in the team and lays a game saving tackle and then send him back to Casey. I know our player management / selection has been questionable but that would be a new low.

He’s not underperforming. He’s the foundation of our forward half pressure.

Plenty on here bemoan perceived lack of effort or care. Chandler’s not hitting the scoreboard as much as we’d like but he’s bringing the effort and intensity.

Correct. Had 8 tackles and a goal on the weekend.

Lever back helps

cant drop Windsor

Tomlinson likely out

I’d like to see AMW get a game…….who goes out?

I'm starting to feel my pregame confidence returning.

I'd take that each week.

None of the Caey players will come in on the back of a five-day break unless it's as the sub.

My guess is Lever in and Tommo out. I could also see another out with Hunter/Hore in as sub.

Good point I hadn’t thought of that. Would be silly to bring someone in from Casey off a 5 day break unless absolutely necessary.

Ridiculous statement. Do you actually follow what's happening ? Hunter has been struggling with a calf & will play for Casey & Hore is still injured.

And was our second highest pressure player. Critically important - if we’re any chance this week or for the rest of the season, we need our pressure game to be on point.

Nah - two wins.

The woes are in the midfield. Berry will probably go to Clarry, I think we should send ANB to Neale a la the Nick Daicos tag, that leaves Viney head to head with Dunkley and Rivers head to head with McCluggage.  The damage may be able to be limited somewhat.

Honestly mate, get a grip.

The fact that Oliver is even playing tells you the culture is broken. If you watched him tonight - really watched him, he behaved like a petulant little kid. I don't care that he can't shake a tag. North were a man down simply because Clarry is who he is.

But there was a centre bounce in the 3rd where Claz genuinely ignored the entire contest just to beeline someone and take them out. Imagine one of your three centre bounce mids not even watching the game. His head was NOWHERE NEAR the game, his team or his role. Nowhere near it.

This is pretty funny.

Max said that Clarry had a hard tag and was going to other north players to create an opening for Viney.

You give the exact example that Max provides and bag him out.

Your inability to read the play even after its been explained to you is alarming.

You are a donkey.

Thanks champ! I misread Hore as being available but as they didn't pull anyone out of the Casey game last week, it's highly unlikely a player will come from there unless they want to risk them as a sub. As I posted Tommo out Lever in, with the rest being conceivable but less likely. Your opinion is that it is not. My opinion is that it is. That's why we're all here. Jog on.

Unless he is the sub - AMW well qualified now to play at either end.

I think this is the week we can play Lever, Tommo, Tmac and May.

Brisbane have a lot of quality talls

Can Oliver just go straight to Neale and hound the F out of him as well as racking up 25 touches himself?

Why not send Clarry to HF and upset the balance of Lions midfield group? They’d be planning for Clarry so give them something that they may not be ready for.

If Berry goes with him to the Forward line then someone has to come out of there. Where do they play? Just need a bit of magnet movement to create some confusion for the Lions

Berry just goes to Viney imo.

He won't bother following him forward as he isn't good up there.

That's clever thinking & an option that should be used more often. Clarry will be tagged so get him to stick to Neale like a limpet. It'll throw the Lions planning out.

He may do. But then you move. Larry back in and keep Berry guessing . Ultimately creating a mismatch and not allowing him to settle and get into the game.

Just cannot go into the game thinking Clarry will shake the tag. The coaching panel have to do some planning to help him have a bigger impact.

Captain’s run at the Gabba on Thursday afternoon. 3:30 - 4:30

It’s an open session.

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
