If Cats lose by 100 points will Scott mention the opposition in his presser? 😂

Doubt it

But I bet he mentions, bus delays, overcrowded Virgin lounge, long flight, schedule, old hasbeens needing a rest, burden of being 2nd on ladder, Umps, AFL.... etc

Im absolutely loving watching these entitled, smug little [censored] getting their face rubbed in it.

Tough work going up to Darwin and away from your mini league set up down at the Cattery.

Absolute special of the round GC.

I thought they may have had to check people's phones behind the goal then for that review.

Just awesome

No coming back from this far back

Cats to fall to 6th or 7th at the end of the round barring a few upsets.

Have also dropped 10%

Live ladder has cats second on 28 points, with their percentage dropping to 112.5.

We are 24 points on 121.1%.

Keep going suns.

I’m enjoying the game heaps… but I’m even looking forward to Scott’s press conference after the game even more!

Wonder if he can bring himself to actually mention / acknowledge Gold Coast just even once.

Press confrence will be epic.

Popcorn type viewing.

this is the worst i've seen the Cats play since we smashed them in the 21 prelim

Bet they have a nice easy kill next week to fall back on at the Cattery.

Oh GWS at the Cattery next week, that will be interesting.

Could have sworn the AFL default fixturing would have lined them up against a Norf or Hawforn type arrangement at the Cattery after an away trip.

GWS, they might struggle even at home.

124.3 is current

Live is 112.5%

Any win for us is 3rd (Ess beat Norf)

Doesn’t it make a good weekend when the cats lose by 100 points.  Wish it was pies   Blues or essenzcum

Just heard there’s a virus going through the Cats squad. First felt symptoms against the Dees  few weeks back.

Cameron doesn’t have concussion but full bout of this unknown virus. Initial symptoms vary but all players reporting feeling a bit “off” within hours of being exposed to the pathogen.

Quite like the look of GC ruck Ned Moyle. Has some good bodywork in the ruck contest. Could learn a lot under Max. UFA at year's end

After i wrote it I checked straight away.

If the cats kick 5 of 6 goals in the last  at least xScooty from jeelong  can pick the votes with a clear conscience

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
