We received a full set of replacement MFC stickers in the mail yesterday.

Its very good of the MFC to send to us all. Sets are going to all MFC members.

It is however dissappointing that MFC continues to have quality issue with it stickers. 3 out of last 4 years there have been problems with fading. This year has been the worst 'cos the stickers have faded to black jumpers with white V which is as insulting as it can get for those of us old enough to have experienced the 50's and 60's when the colliwobbled were the mortal enemy. (maybe MFC should check the affiliation of the supplier??)

Also adds to the already frustrating 2007 we are having.

MFC Admin really needs to get this sorted given the symbolic importance and desire to promote the MFC brand as a prestige club. Also as stickers often stay on cars for years the negative image can linger.

Lets hope the new bright stickers as a sign of a brighter remainder of 2007!!

while it is good the club are doing this, i'd personally rather the money be spent somewhere else, like the football department... unless the replacement stickers were free from the supplier of course...

It was noted in the attached letter that the supplier replaced the stickers at their own cost. One of my mates is a Richmond supporter(!), and their stickers were also faded when I saw himtwo weeks ago, so its not a phenomenon exclusive to us. On another note with that letter, how good a deal was the Age subscription! I signed up the next day. The Age becoming our shorts sponsor, replacing Red Energy, kinda snuck up on us all, I only noticed it about two weeks ago when reading the papers match report the next day and saw a picture of one of our players.

maybe they fade because of that crazy stuff that's been falling from the sky over the past week

And we wonder why we struggle financially. Yeah, it's only a small $$$$, only stickers, but every cent matters in a business. Second time this has happened. Not acceptable. Says alot imo...

they saved money on postage by only sending on letter to each household, i assume as that's what happened here. so essentially they've paid for one set of stickers, and saved the second time round on posting. now i too wish it didn't happen, but i'd say its a good move by the department as it makes members feel more appreciated

No. It makes me feel that the marketing department is run by morons who don't test the stickers.

The Herald Scum mentioned our supporters whinging about the faulty stickers in 'The Pulse' today.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
