How have they walked that straight into their 50??? We are straight up hot garbage tonight

Can't they stop complaining to the umpires every time and show some pride and aggression?

Just now, Gunna’s said:

[censored] me that was pathetic from our mids and defense. No pressure what so ever

Yep

Haven't turned up today

Without question every single time this club talks itself up we lose the Next game.

Every time

Can we please top media interviews.

Oh yeah three quarters and Petty still hasn't touched it.

Not great.

And can we please give Kozzie another week off.

He is not a team player.

He's a star but he's selfish and unreliable.

Yeah the moment there's a few wins people get giddy and the bath water comes out.

Stop whinging about the umpiring. We are second best and lazy.

Oliver is a complete liability

Oliver may need to be rested or to go to VFL honestly

I'm more confident in this team playing at any ground that's not the MCG. Anyone got stats for win percentage at each ground? Heading to the MCG these days triggers the MFCSS something shocking!

Think we might have been drinking some bath water this week.

lazy, uninspired football.

should have stayed in Adelaide

Tholstrup overwhelmed, Petracca butchering disposals.

Adelaide were closer to us when we played them, compared to what we are to Brisbane tonight.

This is a smashing 😡🤬😠🤬😠🤬

These holding the ball calls…

Our goal kicking accuracy this year has masked our form. We've been average despite winning. Our inside 50 count and clearance numbers have been well down on usual form. Same thing happened early last season where our accuracy was through the roof before coming back to reality

We look like the Gold Coast Suns circa 2011.

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.

It's Game Day, and reinforcements are finally arriving for the Demons—but will it be too little, too late? They're heading down the freeway to face a Cats side returning home to their fortress after two straight losses, desperate to reignite their own season. Can the Demons breathe new life into their campaign, or will it slip even further from their grasp?

  • PREVIEW: Geelong

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
