Last year I got a $36 MFC (3 game) membership when Kysaiah Pickett re-signed but $1 is bit ridiculous.

$33 memberships going recently after Kolt re-signed.

Ah missed it, was on holidays abroad for the last month. Anyways, my Kayo subscription is via MFC so that is my contribution to the Dees for this year 🙂

Anyone who complains about our current membership numbers are just looking for ways to pot the club. The fact we have exceeded 60k members several years running now is phenomenal.

Bulldogs this week were selling $1 memberships.  At least we're not that desperate.

Edit - just noticed so were we.  Okay.  Egg on face.

Agreed. If anything, a season like this where the Dees dipped in form shows that the membership base level of around 65K is quite solid and a springboard to build upwards from.

Hi Katrina I didn’t see $1 memberships, I saw the $29 junior memberships to celebrate Windsor/Tholstrup re-signing and I usually receive all emails from the club?

Okay I may be mistaken there, too, I thought someone on Page 3 of this mention $1 memberships.  Don't mind me, it's Friday.....

We should be capable of reaching 75k plus in a good year (where we are GF favourites).

Agree No. 31 to still reach 65k after all the negative press regarding Clayton, Grundy & JS as well as the heart break with Gus & Tracc and our loss of form it is a great base to bounce back from. We now have all our ducks lined up, a strong draft to look forward to and another preseason for our youngsters and a couple of our injured veterans.

True.

That is why it is important clubs get the members on an auto renewal direct debit 😁

I see our official membership figure was 65548 for 2024.This is about an 8% drop on last year and lower than 2022.We now rank 11th on the membership table .We are less mid table and more in line with lower end. Our membership  projection for 2025 would be of  serious concern after all the negative press heaped on us.

Sadly If the negative press didn’t get you, the 4 close losses and the 3 total wipeouts would have discouraged the hesitant and late joiners.

Most importantly we lost 5,306 members.

Only 3 other clubs lost members in 2024.   Richmond with 2,860, Essendon with 2,610 and North with 456.

Those numbers for us will drop again next year off the back of a 14th place.

Asleep at the wheel is a good description of what has been going on behind the scenes.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
