NON-MFC: Finals Week 02

The giants are playing like us in 2021.

They kick a burst of 5-6 goals in a short time and the game is out of reach for the opposition.

What I would give to see us play that way again.

I'm sitting with the in laws and they're calling Pickett a thug and the media beat up over Maynard taking brayshaw flowers “oh they played together as juniors “

I haven't had my say yet

[censored] collingwood supporters are on drugs. They literally have no idea

That free to hogan. you don’t pay that. especially in finals

that probably settles the result

Blocking free kicks are as confusing as ruck infringement ones.

Blues and GWS were 4th and 5th last in round 15

wtf

Giants gone off the boil. Port back within 3 goals. Game not over yet by a long way

So only once in 23 seasons of the current final eight system have BOTH qualifying final losers gone out in straight sets, back in 2014 when Geelong and Fremantle lost their semis ... looks like that's about to become two. #AFLPowerGiants

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
