Hey steam away, no problem with that.

People seem to be real mad at me for criticising a person for wishing injury upon Jeremy Howe which I think is a bad thing to do. Not a big fan of wishing injuries upon random players.

if you’re cool with that, just say so? Pretty easy thing to do don’t you think?

Would be wonderful if someone could point out why I’m wrong about that being a bad and hypocritical thing to do, but apparently that’s an extremely hard thing for anybody to do.

It’s not my fault people cannot directly  address the very, VERY, easy to understanding criticism I have made.

But whatevs, carry on venting.

I can see another poll coming up, with what occupation do we associate BoBo (when you pronounce that, is it like Yogi Bears friend?). I'll start;

a/ Evangelist?

b/ School teacher?

c/ Social worker?

d/ Collingwood troll?

e/ University professor?

f/ Movie critic?

Apologies to anyone that fits into the above categories that I've offended, it was only my intention to mock BoBo.

I really hope this sets a course of divine intervention into effect. What goes around comes around kid, If I were a Collingwood fan I would not want to see us on GF day.

Beyond our control.

Let’s move on.

We have bigger fish to fry.

Carlton this week and Brisbane the next with another crack at Collingwood on Saturday 30 September 2023.

Why is everyone so confident Collingwood don’t wobble their way out of finals in the prelim?
GWS, if they beat Port, will have a lot to say about the Pies making a grand final.

Oh my [censored] god. There’s no telling some people. Stop sitting in judgement of passionate people who are saying things in the heat of the moment. You need to have the last say, right? Heads up… I’m the queen of The Last Say. I don’t back down and I’ve got all night. Bring it on!

I love that me disagreeing on a single post about wishing injury on Jeremy Howe has now turned into me sitting in ‘judgement’ and needing the last say.

You realise you are doing what I did yes?

You are criticising me.

For criticising Jaded.

Only one of us isn’t addressing the others criticism.

I think it’s a bad and hypocritical thing to pick out a random opposition player and wish injury on them. In this instance it was Jeremy Howe.

Do you think it’s a good or a bad thing to do this?

Yes or No.

It’s that simple.

Jeremy Howe has done nothing but potted our club since the day he voluntarily walked out to play as a forward and win a flag.
I was on here wishing him a speedy recovery when he injured his arm. And I’m on here now hoping it gets tested out on prelim day. The same way our players’ injuries get tested out by Pies players every time we play them.
If you have a problem with that, you are free to sit in judgement and tell me I’m a bad human.
I give less [censored] than the tribunal did tonight for the welfare of Angus Brayshaw; aka less than 0.

Brayshaw should sue the AFL for failing to provide a safe workplace

I'm the last person to know if he has a case or not but as a pub test i would think he'd have a fabulous case of negligence and derelict in duty from here.

The AFL have effectively condoned a form of head high impact & resulting concussion using 'a footy act' and 'no other choice but to protect oneself' as their argument.

Can see Colonwood losing to both Port and GWS.

They struggled to beat us when we couldn't buy a goal.

People forget the AFL is a business.
And if you run a business like the AFL how do you maximise profits and trigger bonuses?
You ensure your big clubs are playing at the best venues in the best time slots and winning.
And if a blind eye needs to be turned now and then to ensure this happens, so be it.

Very disappointing.

Let's see how serious the AFL is about concussion.

But doesn't matter for us. Guilty or not guilty, gus isn't playing this week.

We've got a game to win.

Is this all you’ve got? You’re starting to bore me now.

*monumental sigh and 360-degree eye roll*

I asked you nicely to let people vent.
You didn’t.
I asked again, a little more firmly this time.
Again, you didn’t.

Now here we are. Your move.

They’re gonna go out of business pretty quickly with the amount of lawsuits and litigation coming their way from players.

I'm getting a bit sick of people I know thinking that's all bunk and that they sign up for this stuff when they could be a plumber or electrician or postal worker.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
