Couldn't do it against us, sides get sucked in to their first play which suits them

Adelaide deserved to win that. 🤬

Did when we played that mob.

This is the NON-MFC thread.

Ugh again crows bad kicking came back to bite them.

2-5 to 5-2 in that final term

Also in that final play why did they handball to Jacobs the ruckman instead of a runner. Or just bang the kick in.

Dam what a bummer the pies win again

I wonder if Collingwood would have won that game if they sold it to the NT government and played it at Alice Springs?

Umpires cost Adelaide the game.

Agree and 21-11 frees to Pies and goal taken off Rankine and Fogarty and Dawson belted, as ball coming and yet Pies get 3 soft goals from frees in last quarter.

That said we need Pies and Port to beat everyone below us so good for us.

Well Rankine was denied a goal that was a goal, so yep, just on that basis alone

On top of the disgusting 50m penalty against Sloane..

The Pies scoring issue is a real concern.

Imagine only just beating that mob? Twice.

I saw at least half a dozen blatant frees not paid to the Crows and then Daicos gets that 50 for a gift goal.

And that goal to Rankine was clear as day on the replay…

Id be fuming if i was a crows supporter.

Bucks needs to stop and take a breath. His blatant frothing is 🤮

I wouldn’t talk too soon. I don’t know if we will beat Adelaide.

Imagine having to show up at work everyday and heap praise on the guy who took your job, and makes you look like a fool?

Nathan seems to do it with ease. I’m not sure self reflection is a strength of his.

So the problem is that although Collingwood look tired, they still recorded the win.

It's a Ws and Ls business.

He loves the Pies so much he should go coach them 😂

Does Fox know Jeremy Howe only missed 3 months of football?

They are carrying on like he’s been cryogenically frozen since 1928.

Yep, almost every thread does. Even the banner thread ffs. Thanks to the mods that’s been restored to its no self-bashing state. 😁

Matthew Nicks would be proud and filthy at the same time.

It’s not coincidence that certain clubs get an armchair umpiring ride constantly.

I will never believe that, the evidence is overwhelming, it’s not rub of the green or a one off, it is blatantly constant.

The reason is most likely to do with the large one sided crowd.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
