Well I certainly can't RTG - I'm still Shiraz [censored] from last night.

Let’s be cocky enough to think it’s irrelevant.  We can beat anyone, anytime.

Freo up by 2 goals.

If both Sydney and Collingwood lose they will stay 3rd and be our opponent.

If one of Sydney or Collingwood win then Freo will finish 4th and play away to Geelong.

If both Sydney and Collingwood win they will finish 5th and play Carlton or WB.

Love for them to finish 4th and give the Cats an almighty scare, but then again would love the geriatrics to play finals away from their cesspool down at KP

Thanks BAMF. I'm off to Korean tonight. Any expertise re what to order?

Ok nothing but pride to play for but watching GWS players not even chase just shows how little football means to some of these players. Good luck if you go there Adam Yze.

That's a lot of options to go through.

I would stick with the kimchi and fried chicken if I were you

Lachie Whitfield nowadays plays like he’s afraid of his own shadow. He has seriously regressed. Giants will be losing the wrong types of players with Hopper and Taranto said to be leaving, whilst the Coniglios, Whitfields and Kelly’s hang around

The Dangerfest at the cattery is on - time to head to the bottle-o.

I was going with the kimchi and wagyu beef which I find easier to spill over the front of the shirt.

Only watched the second half of the Giants game, I have know idea how they could have been in front given the way they played in the second half.

Anyone have an idea of what West Coast need to lose by to snatch the spoon off the Roos?

Can't be done

Cats have had a very cushy draw for the end of their year. They will be prime for the takedown in September.

That disallowed Rioli goal was classic Kardinia Park BS

Are Geelong really a number one team?

They don't do well in finals.

At Kardinia they have amassed 32 points from a possible 36.

Does there home ground advantage make them appear better than they are.

There isn't much of an adv having the mcg as a home ground because teams even interstate ones play there so often.

Our travel record says a lot about us.

I would relish another cats prelim or even granny.

We know..... but even better they know they will choke in the finals

So I'm watching the first quarter and Jack Darling gets bear hugged by the opposition right in front of the controlling umpire. An umpire miles away had to pay it. How on earth do professional umpires in perfect positions manage to sheet their dacks so often at KP?

What’s Geelong learnt in the last few weeks?  How to beat up on bottom 8 teams and win at home?

They’d have no idea how they hold up under pressure.

I guess it's almost a certainty we play Sydney but I suppose there is a small chance it could be Pies.

Who do we prefer?

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
