Article in the Sun by Jay Clark stating the Todd Viney is tipped to becoming Clarko's right hand man in a Neil Balme type role at the club.

Supposedly Clarko is putting the feelers out to get a working crew behind him for the job.

In the same article it also states that according to industry figures, there's strong talk that Adem Yze will be the man for the GWS job.

One of his trusty go-to men along the journey. Wouldn't suprise me in the least if Clarko goes to North.

Jeez Todd? He’s a bit past it but they are desperate so he is probably an upgrade

will he be in #7?

He's not past it at all...would be a great appointment in this role.

I’d feel a bit shattered if Todd left. I love having him back.

l didnt want to be the one to break it to you but he has left already

As in he no longer works for the MFC

I’ll just let my self out 🤦‍♂️

Well I kind of liked him being a Dees man again, whether or not he was working at the club.

He will always be a Dees man @layzie

Our fortunes seem to turn as soon as Todd move into our list management team. Tough and courageous player and skipper

I honestly would be extremely surprised if this happened.

From my understanding Toddy Viney is enjoying retirement up on his farm in country Victoria.

I also think Todd Viney wants to see another Premiership or two won by the Melbourne Demons at the MCG (this time).

I cannot see Todd Viney making a comeback to AFL ranks but you can never say never.

Clarko is the one man who can convince him I feel, otherwise it's farm life for the duration.

I hope he does take the job, he's too good a footy person to not be involved at the highest level.

He played a massive role in our premiership and hopefully he can help North get back on track

Nice little top up of the super one feels. Norf won't be contending for a while so I'm ok with it.

Not particularly fond of Norf but I'm sure Todd will do a nice job.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
