CASEY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood

Dunstans disposal is a liability. Gets plenty of it but consistantly turns it over.

JVR is a real forward.  He'll be a very good player because he competes hard in the air.  On another note, two of my boys from the Under 14 MPCA Provincial Premiership team in 14/15 are having great games.  Josh Smith and Roan Steele.  Nice to see.

Good mark Weid. And kick.

Weid marks and kicks truly from 35 out directly in front

Great goal by Dunstan.

Kudos to the folks for turning up at Casey Fields to support the boys. 🥶

Having gone to this game a couple of years ago the crowd is 70% Collingwood. It's probably the biggest game of the year crowd wise

They just showed 5 best highlights from last round. The run down tackle by Mac Andrew was sensational.

Joel Smith shown as an emergency yet the injury list shows 4 - 6 weeks.

If he is ok to be an emergency wouldn't he be better off playing a few quarters to be ready for the seniors if need?

Not Joel Smith but Josh Smith, a ruckman/forward from Casey’s local area.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
