GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn

I just had the abject misfortune of having to use the public toilets at St Albans train station. Despite the ‘vacant’ setting, when I kicked the door open (coz not touching a single surface), I see a guy injecting heroin into his big toe. I says, “sorry bro, didn’t know there was anyone in here.” He says, “all good” then looks up and says, “Go Dees!” 😆

Melksham simply has to play well, he may not get another chance.
it’s tough to get a game at The MFC

It'll be a fascinating demonstration of just how much he wants his 200 game milestone.

I think " hate" is too strong a word.

I don’t know what the right word is then. Singling out one player as the reason we might lose or not want to watch the game seems terribly personal to me.

Whatever the right word is, it’s a foreign concept to me and a long way from any emotion I experience or recognise.

As in, dropping the word “war”???

I’ve been meaning to change my username coz I’m not comfortable with that word being in my name. Not since the brutal and senseless invasion of 🇺🇦

edit: bit slow on the uptake, DD. I just got it. WC. 😆

But hawthorn seem to get off to a good start & we need to kick accurately. Can't afford to kick like last Sunday night

Absolutely...need to be a bit more deliberate.  Last week there was some major wastage at goal going on by too many

No... well there is that but certainly doesn't bother me as such.  I have to live with the war office every day!

WC as in .... Water Chamber ie; your surprise injection room escapade up there

Kayo??

I tried it, it’s picking up my location. I’m about as tech savvy as a pile of stacked house bricks.

Its $17 US for watchafl.com, looking attractive at this point.

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die!
