lol how dumb are people with their phones, as if it's not being filmed by a thousand other people. Why not just enjoy the moment?

But but but then they can’t post it themselves and get all those likes. That’s what life is about after all

Can they actually resume the game?   The game is done - maybe Geelong should concede.

Epic fail by the security. No way could they stop the crowd from running onto the field, but not one got to Buddy before the crowd. Really dangerous.

Well done Buddy for handling that so well. I would have panicked in that press from that crowd.

And well done Buddy - unique, unstoppable super star.

Can’t do that when percentage can decide ladder position. If they kick one more or two more it could be the difference between 1st, top 4 and top 8.

Interviewing him now??!!

How about interviewing him after the match ends! The match that has yet to be completed. The match that is a proper home and away match!

Congrats to Buddy, amazing player. Security were non-existent, that is some freaky scenes.

Can’t see it happening again.

Clearly the security should have sprinted towards Buddy as he kicked it, and surrounded him. No idea what they were hoping to do other than protect the player.

That gave me anxiety. Feel so unsafe. Doesn’t take much for some looney to get on there with a knife or something. It’s insane.

No ring of security guards around him?! He looked like he was just about hyperventilating as he came off.

Sydney are a quality side. Geelong needs to bugger off. I’m sick and tired of seeing the same bloody players doing the same bloody things.

AND they only play well ONLY at Jeelong Moggie house for decrepit old and unloved [censored].

OK - time to clear the ground, NOW.  Enough is enough.

Imagine the reaction if (a) a player does a hammy in the remaining 5 minutes and / or (b) one or both teams come down with Covid during the week.

Did anyone else see a Jeelong player shirtfront a swans supporter? AFL need to look seriously into this

He handled it so much better than I would.
I would have had a full on panic attack. Would have also been good if someone could hand him a mask. All I kept thinking is COVID!

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury. LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres

It remains to be seen whether Simon Goodwin will persevere with him in attack or return him to the backline where he was an important cog in the club’s 2021 premiership success.
