Craig McRae Named Collingwood Coach

Featured Replies

Craig McRae is widely known in footy by the nickname "Fly".

Does this mean we can refer to his baby Magpies as "Maggots"?

So hopefully Yze/Williams will stay on?

You'd imagine Yze stock would go up (even) more if he stayed with us.

McRae seems to be universally respected and his appointment viewed as a good decision*

* until they lose the first two games of next season

So....Clarko to the Blues?

While it wouldn’t ultimately be a consideration in him being hired, I always wondered how the atmosphere would be around the joint when blokes like Wayne Johnston, David Rhys-Jones and Ian Aitken in particular popped in to the club for a visit.
I believe Aitken was actually their reserves coach until recently.

I have no problem with McRae which makes we sad because in three years' time I'll either have a problem with him or he'll be chewed up and spat out by dysfunctional Collingwood.
