Channel 10 news reporting Luke Jackson was forced to apologise to his mum for not wearing his mouth guard and losing his two front teeth, all I can think of is that song by outkast

Luke Jackson has massive teeth, loses both of his fronties.
Angus Brayshaw's head is above average, copped heaps of head knocks.
Jake Lever is all arms and legs, cops 2 knee reco's (Max Gawn too).

Some people need a bit of additional padding, and in retrospect it's sometimes easy to see why.

One of the fallen was/is a false tooth, only one real.

He’s only 19! If he keeps going this way he won’t have any real teeth left!

Listen to your mother, Dogga! 😁

I worry for James Harmes.

I think with advancements in dentistry, these days mouth guards are almost optional. A few years back during a marking contest Buddy Franklin’s front tooth came flying out of his mouth. It was no biggie. He just picked it up and kept on playing. It was as casual as if an earring had fallen out.

Irrespective of advances in dentistry, I think a knee in the choppers hard enough to knock teeth out would hurt a lot less if there was a big fat strip of rubbery stuff cushioning the blow!

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
