How good would a Saints win be.

Amazing. But nothing would be more 2021 than Geelong winning a flag.

Wow..one behind to the dogs since the 10 minute mark of the third.

Trealor seems to have learned the art of the Bulldog throw.

If we happen to play the Doggies in a final, I really hope we go after Cody Weightman. He runs his mouth a lot. Real small man syndrome. I would be going after him in a final.

Win tomorrow and gauranteed top 2 gives us the option to rest some players v Geelong if they are going to scrap the bye

No it doesn't. Only Guarantees top three.

I despise him. He’s a real [censored].

Are you assuming St Kilda are beating Geelong or Dogs are beating Port next week?

Correct my maths a bit wrong, probably don’t want to finish 3rd if we cop port in Adelaide

Are Dogs in a form slump?
Can we all agree Clarkson being dumped by Hawthorn is the worst call any club has made this decade?

This does not really help us. if we lose to Geelong and Port beat the dogs we play our first final in SA.  Have to win both games.

Another attractive proposition is that Lions win both and Doggies lose next week with enough % diff that they drop out of top 4. Wouldn’t that me something.

Only watched Q4  - is it too much a mixed metaphor to say frost seems on fire?

I will allow it as technically touching a really cold substance can cause a burn.

Oh glory days, dogs losing and the Hawks winning a valueless game....

That would be the absolute worst. Rather Port win TBH.

If we lose the grand final to Geelong I am done. Might as well carve up that tombstone.

Again, take clearance away from the Bulldogs and they can't win. You beauty.

You've also got to wonder whether injuries to Dunkley and Treloar has lulled them into a false sense of security about their midfield strength. So many of their mids can be exposed going the other way.

If Saints beat Geelong... could be a very enjoyable day

Almost Bradbury (esque)

I'm an eternal optimist Diamond, but even I can't see this happening (hoping, secretly and bizarrely that posting this will make it happen)

I can’t see Dogs losing 3 in a row. Would be some implosion!

Correct. In that scenario we’d almost prefer to lose both. Although you really don’t want to go into finals losing 2 on the trot.

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
