Goal kicking is arguably  the greatest issue facing our nation in 2021. Maybe even worse than Covid and the vaccination stroll out.

Thanking Kent for kicking that sealer in the West but he is bog ordinary.

Gotten worse since leaving Melbourne which I didn’t think was possible.
This game is a dumpster truck on fire.

How can these professionals justify such embarrassing goal kicking skills with 0 wind 0 rain 0 crowd.

Yep I got better stuff waiting for me on various other streaming services.

Both sides scoring more by accident than by design.

How the hell did that Butler throw not get called.

There should be a throw of the year to go with mark and goal of the year competition. Butler wins this weeks shocker.

What on earth has happened to goal kicking in the last month.

They just mentioned on the commentary that accuracy is at a 150 year low...

It has been all year from most sides, heading for the worst conversion rate of all time.

Georgiades is a serious talent. Big future ahead.

Surely it is due to climate change exacerbated by Covid ?

Are we barracking for St Kilda?

Yes we are. Less interstate teams in the top 4 and less competition for top 4 is good.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
