Is anyone watching the Carlton v Brisbane VESFL match at the moment?

Carlton were up 11.1.67 to 0.0.0 in the first quarter. 29min into the 2nd and Brisbane are back within 14 points. Absolutely crazy match to watch!

Cats v eagles will be very interesting.

At fortress geelong will cats win or are they really on the way out.

Is Hawkins too old?

Are they too dependent on Danger?

Mmm.

Watching the Cats v West Coast. Can't decide which team i dislike more.

Go Eagles and Suns

Not sure that an Eagle's win is in our long term (September) interest but I can understand the sentiment

I reckon West Coast will fold like a cheap suit. Down hill skiers.

I think its fair to say you were spot on.

10 goal quarter from the Cats.

Unreal stuff.

Phenomenal barrel from Duncan after the siren.

The cats were excellent that quarter. West Coast are pathetic. They are not serious flag contenders.

Undermanned WC at wet and wild Geelong. A recipe for a smashing.

I can’t get a handle on Eagles, I’m not even close. I put a series of $5 multis on taking Cats v Eagles, Suns v Swans and our game all each way so I’m covered. I did bet before realising Kennedy was out,  but F me, Eagles have talent but this is pathetic.

Bang on BDA

When do we get to play Meth Coke at Home??

A lot of people went early eulogising the Swans. Those academy picks don’t look so flash at the moment. I know they have injuries but their performance so far is very poor.

McGovern done with a groin injury, could get really ugly now.    Sun v Swans game is not a good standard, too many injuries for the swans.  Can't see swans doing a come back at all.

I hope West Coast get pumped by 100 points here

Looks like its going to be more than that.  Gaff run down by Rohan, all the run and pressure with cats.

Gee the cats/eagles game could get ugly. I know the eagles have a few uinjuries but they still have a few good players out there.

Oh and the nuffy that told me that nic nat was a better ruckman than gawn because he has more ruck flair, well not really seeing that today. 7 disposals and no marks so far.

Happy to see gold coast probably win and it keeps sydney off our tails.

What a day: Good Coast winning, Worst Coast losing, just a pity that Geelong are the team responsible for Worst Coast's plight...

Cats are gnawing away on Eagle bones today

Fab tackle from Maj in our pocket just now

Cats putting their season right back on track here.

Guess cats are ok.

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
