You ok?

That I am... watching a bog standard Silvagni set shot goal and a bog standard Daicos set shot goal make the highlights reel over Kozzy’s intercept and snap over his shoulder just gives me the irrits.

looks like Heeney may be underdone/unavailable in a month for the Dees game

The boy Cox looks a future gun. Will be some great battles against LJ over the years

Heeney's toast... Broken hand supposedly from the coach himself.

Will miss our game most likely.  Never really rated him all that highly though tbh

Poor quality game tonight. Swans struggling to get their corridor game going well and blew lots of easy shots at goal early on. Bombers just hanging in there.

First game i've seen sydney play this season. What was all the hype about?

I think the heat and the swans further developed fitness base had alot to do with the result against the Tiges last week, couldn't be arsed on the basis of tonight's result. Plus the swans short chipping game not holding up in the greasy conditions.

So swans aren’t that good? Or bombers aren’t that bad?

or both?

Does that mean Hawks are ok?

Bit of both Ess seem to be holding up ok.

Wadda ... there is no way I could hope for an Essendon win

i hate the [censored] !!

Head pulled off in front of goal - no free. Selwood gets them every time.
That smug pretty boy umpire - who is he. Something to do with St.Kilda?

Your right Uncle....id happily give up 2nd spot in rnd4 just to see them lose....

There is no way the Swans are even in this position without a tailorman Academy to pluck all the grade A talent in NSW.

Even more annoying than the statue on the Mark rule is the bloody running 50 meter penalty.  Ridiculous.

Do they have an umpiring academy in NSW too?

Geez the Saints made a blue letting Hind go. They could use him off HB

Swans are choking big time.

this has a bombers last minute win written all over it

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
