Looking like we’ll be one of the remaining three unbeaten teams by the end of the evening. Don’t remember when that happened last.

Hoping we can be front runners throughout the season.

Stay in the top 8, and be on the positive side of the win loss equation.

Can't remember when that last happened!

What dreams are made of, a less anxious home and away series that leads into a successful finals run.

I wouldn't bet on it, though.

Saintsational is a great read tonight, for those who become bored with the West anihalation

I am guessing the Brad Hill honeymoon is well and truly over.

I think it goes a lot deeper than that

Swans won a flag in 2012 & dogs in 2016 and both have bottomed out somewhat and have managed to rebuild/top up/ develop their lists to possibly contend this year based on their form right now ...MfC still working on consistency to win games and play finals .. enough said

The Dogs bottomed out after their flag 5 years ago? Please. They have pretty much the same team. Struggled for a couple of years but are still on the same path

Only 6 players who played in the 2016 GF were in the side this week

Fair enough. But clearly they haven’t bottomed out.

key players like Bont, Libby, Wood, Wallis, JJ, Macrae all still there

Beveridge was talking about that exact scenario this morning on SEN

There was a “Mini Rebuild/Reset” but we outsiders didn’t notice it

Bizarre results today.  I hope it doesn't bode ill for us tomorrow.

Not sure the Saints can claim to be finals contenders when they go that badly against the Bombers.  Two of the flag favorites getting done is also interesting to see, although Richmond in particular are very good at peaking in September.

Eagles are red hot (against a well credentialled outfit)

Still excellent viewing even though the game has blown out

As a measurement, we're going to have to be rather good to match up against this sort of standard!

Port are probably wondering what's hit them

What each of the blow outs have shown today is that against the really good opposition you need to take all your chances and put heavy scoreboard pressure on quickly, and then it can blow out.

Sydney nailed a lot of their early efforts, so did the Eagles. That's where we can take our game to the next level.

We're generating enough scoring shots, we just need to convert them. Fritsch is going to be massive over the next 2-3 weeks, because if he doesn't improve his accuracy, I can see him costing us a game or two.

Looking forward to Brown's inclusion, because as a rule, he doesn't miss very often.

Just about every team has players kicking bags except us

Is it too much to ask of Fritsch, T mac, Trac or anyone to kick 6+ tomorrow?

Provided we keep winning  does it really matter??

On the flip side AF, ...  T-Mac, Gawn & LJ should get more opportunities to score if the trend of open forward lines stays put

And just on the open forward lines and fast movement into the forward lines ... it's hard to see the coaches promoting stagnant movement knowing that the other mob are going to attack quickly and put pressure on their defence

You've got to go for it otherwise the other mob will gain a break

The biggie is when a mark is taken 60-80 metres out from goal ... now that the teams don't have to kick over the mark they can elude the 'Statue' and hit up a leading forward with a bullet pass

We are witnessing a massive shift in thinking

Big chance for us tomorrow. We currently have the third best percentage in the AFL and sit third. A win puts us a game clear of 4th and opens up a two-game gap over most of the bottom 10 (depending on who wins out of Carlton-Fremantle and Geelong-Hawthorn).

More importantly IMO, I'd love to see a win brought about by the same sort of football we've played over Rounds 1 and 2. So far only the Dogs and Sydney have been consistent through their three games. I'd love for us to stake a claim alongside them to be one of the better, more consistent, sides this year. Even if it's not accurate, I'd just like to feel like we're setting ourselves up early for a real tilt.

Watching the swans on how fast and well they develop players vs ours is utterly frustrating and begs the question why???  Want be surprised if they win a flag before we do

Likewise, I think Ben Brown would absolutely adore the way the game is being played at the minute. He'll be incredibly difficult to stop.
