I'm pumped. Being on a different other side of the world than my usual other side of the world means I get to enjoy the red and blue in a rare twilight game and avoid drinking beer at 6am. Dees by 40 imaginary points in a grand final preview!

The breakfast burrito at Edwins up to its usual standard

Nice mild morning clearing to a sunny afternoon

My lovely lady not working, so she can come and watch as well

Jumper 39 on, with Moordijt displayed proudly

Hopefully some blurry pics to be posted later

It’s Aboriginal slang for “the best” or “solid”.

I use to work in an Aborigianl community, it was a favourite amongst the kids.

My emotions are ready.

If we win then we're a cert for the flag.

If we lose then we won't make the eight.

Combined with last year's fugazi comments, anyone else pick up on an emerging theme?

See the last five seconds of that video and then below:

Very good Skuit, well spotted.

Hope the republic is treating you well there....

I see Razor Ray is the umpire......thank god some things never change.

Sure I'm wearing a red and blue polo (and undies) but kudos to some filth fans in full regalia.

To be fair, for many filth fans they are the only clothes they own.

Couldn’t agree more, Jonesy.

  • CASEY: Coburg

The Casey Demons returned to their home ground which was once a graveyard for opposing teams but they managed to gift the four points on offer to Coburg with yet another of their trademark displays of inaccuracy in front of goals and some undisciplined football that earned the displeasure of the umpires late in the game. The home team was welcomed by a small crowd at Casey Fields and looked right at home as it dominated the first three quarters and led for all bar the last five minutes of the game. In the end, they came away with nothing, despite winning everywhere but on the scoreboard and the free kick count.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide

The Demons were wasteful early before putting the foot down early in the 2nd quarter but they chased tail for the remainder of the match. They could not get their first use of the footy after half time and when they did poor skills, execution and decision making let them down.
