All good. My Dad flies in on Saturday and I make him sleep on the couch, he sleeps in his birthday suit as well. He wouldn’t mind a sheet this time.

As long as he's not a Nicky Minaj dude I'm fine with that.

Better warn the neighbours-I've taken up poo jogging.

I'm sure Ethan could search a certain database and find out where Josh Kennedy lives so that you can make a pre-game deposit

No need-a Kennedy can always find a way to ruin their own day.

I'm on the bus to Adelaide Friday night. I have done bus trips in the past and they have all been Horrible! Now I hear they are selling flights here for $285......I could just scream........From Adelaide I am catching an aeroplane as I think its s a bit far to Hitch. The cheap option via Adelaide was all Squirrels idea...

Surprised you didn't hot wire Uncle Bitter's Merc, Robert. Or at least volunteer to courier a package or 2 for Biffen. I'm sure they would've put you up at a 'youth' hostel, ironic as that might be.

You know I reckon Biff just wants to see me on 'Border Force.'

Special!! Alive!! I thought you and squirrel had frozen together in spoon mode in the Fitzroy Gardens.

And it also seems you have funds to splurge on bus and air tickets - you have  indeed come up in the world

Anyone can can get on 'Border Force' Special. You simply arrive in the country from Vietnam dressed as a Celestial grandmother carrying 40 kgs of banned foods whilst the real merchandise slips in behind you in the baby pram.I've been through this with you  a dozen times.

watching ch9 ness in melbourne last night, Tony Jones crossed to a 9 reporter in perth and sai that there are some melbourne fans who have purchased tickets but have no intention of going but bought them so west coast fans can't get them.

Is this true? Or are WA just getting a tad paranoid?

Can anyone confirm that you can still purchase tickets from ticketek.

Tickets have been sold out since the day they went on sale. Sold out in less than 5 hours. Some more tickets may be released tomorrow from people who haven't taken up their option to go the the game, I presume these are corporate tickets etc.

That shows the utter stupidity of todays journos.

It was started on here as a pisstake, picked up by a local journo, and all other hack half wits sell the story as being true.

Dead set, football has some of the dumbest people on the planet posing as "journalists"

embarrassing.

I will be there with the wife and mates ( one is a bulldog supporter and one a freo lover ) Can’t bloody wait, can’t stand the eagles. Will be loud as we can, even if it means I have to watch the granny from a hospital bed. Go dees

Well that will be me.  In Sandy  hospital having had a full knee replacement. Flipping sore but a win on Saturday will fix that.

Part of M55 (the committed part) will be there. Section 146

while on it   To share the camaraderie and love of the best Football Club in the world (Liverpool an extremely close 2nd) we wanted to start a red and blue bandana chain after the game or during and march together as one -nth Korean style  to the Camfield opposite Optus stadium

even go one further if gets a bit of interest we’d like to donate 5-7 per pop and donate too either Reach in honour of the founding father and absolute gentleman J Stynes or cancer council Australia

I’ll shoot around on Demons Facebook but

if is of interest and get nos. Happy to purchase and hand out on day

I have 2 spare tickets for the Prelim in Aisle 333, row 23. They are next to each other.  I am happy to sell at cost price ($190). The only conditions are that it needs to be Dees fans, and you need to make some noise and support the boys! Shouting me a beer would be good too ??

If you want them, first come first served - DM me.

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
