Why don’t we ever stick a tall bastard on the goal line when taking a shot from outside or on 50?

That's coaching 101...??

Frosty is an absolute predator when he sniffs a tackle coming. I think we're so much better with him in our side.

The ease with which we let opposition players stream down the field uncontested, is sickening.

Never should've been dropped to begin with.

yep.... it's the game plan

Great ball movement starting with Oliver who fixed up the old blokes' mess on the wing there. TMac kicks the goal but his golden boots have gotten a little scuffed over the last few weeks. Not kicking them as straight right now.

Should be 4 goals 1 not 2 3

Geelong's disposal is falling down under the Melbourne pressure. Yes, you read that right.

ANB with a terrific kick into the corridor for our last goal. Well played son

And there's that quick one out the back. Frost needs to be deep back at all times to help stop that from happening.

Our bottom 2-3 players letting us down, otherwise good 1st qtr.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
