Bruce is so hard to listen to.

Vlaustin is at the peak of his powers... great to watch him peaking...

How good is Daisy Pearce!? That comment about Richmond’s defensive set up was more helpful and insightful than anything that other commentators would say tonight

I only turned the sound on at half time - yes, Lingy is appalling (also orgasming over Prancer) but BOG isn't much better either     :-((((

It’s Vlostone if you believe the commentators!

Prancer ..... takes on the tackle gone !!!!!

Grimes then dislocated some Swan's (?Parker) shoulder.  Charge?

Buddy gave the turd a bit of a jab to the moosh (well deserved) but didn't he milk it?  CFC Doc would be preparing the autopsy report.

Will Buddy be reported?  Certainly as bad or worse that the one that cost Jesse 2 weeks last year.

Yeah, well done Ling. The throat is considered high but you missed the Rance elbow in Buddy’s throat first.

Typical Rance - forearm/elbow into head/neck while Buddy was on the ground.

Vlaustin playing well but will miss a week or two after that elbow to Parker's face.

What about Buddy's? Normally I'd say weeks but 1) it's buddy and 2) it's Rance, so can't tell if he actually hit him with any force or if he was staging

Vlaustain MUST get 2 weeks at least

I  would love to see hogan play like riewoldt is playing like tonight this Sunday

The greatest FB in the history of the game, or of any game, in the back (very soft one)  to Franklin, plus 50 -> goal.

:-))))

I will not turn on the ch 7 sound but I would guess that Brooose (and Ling) have collapsed in shock.

First of all, Rance had elbowed Franklin's jaw, Franklin pushed him off and the weak turd Rance threw another Hollywood. Harry Weinstein needs to sign him up while he still has his looks, before someone really takes to him and gives him what he deserves.

Ling's commentary is putrid and repetitive.

And less that a minute later Bud comprehensively outworks Prance.

What did ch 7 commentary say?

Parker has been unbelievable.

And Rohan is a dud

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
