How good is Fritsch? Meanwhile, Watts has four touches midway through the third quarter in the showdown.

P.S: Go Gus!

Fritsch is insanely good. I cannot believe I started Spargo over him in SC this week.

Drinking game for the next match: Take a shot every time Roosy says “talent”.  You’ll be legless by halftime.

Would anyone object to getting back into this years draft with a late first round pick for Tyson?

Serious question. We have plenty of inside grunt, but lack some polish (not necessarily an 'outside' type).

Gus is proving that if you play players in their right position they play well.

Nah, not really. Gus is just an inside mid. I liken him to Sam Mitchell. As good as Mitchell was, you couldn't really play him elsewhere. He can only play one position. Gus is the same.

Here’s the test Melbourne, we’re leading by 50+ with 11:30 to go. We have to win by minimum 50.

Nice cameo from Hannan tonight. Not massive stats but done his bit.

Hogan, Gawn and Oliver are just really good football players. They are A+ players most weeks. I reckon Bayley Fritsch is a player who may reach their level.

I WANT BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!

FINISH THEM DEES!

Same. I feel good about today. I haven't felt good about any of our games this year. I think we have played really well today.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
