You have every reason to be supportive of the CEO @DaveyDee

Brendon Gale has delivered nearly 100k members and the premiership he said he would get all the way back in 2010. It's a record you should be proud of.

Your online trolling here not so much but you can be proud of Benny Gale.

Genuine lols!!! Kudos sir!

Didn't Balme go to Richmond as a direct result of Collingwood appointing Gubby Allan...which means that Eddie McGuire can take the credit for Balme going to Richmond...which means you want McGuire at Melbourne???

Not Eddie..I want a Balme type at Melbourne ;)

I hope he has a very big say in appointing his successor

Simon Beasley might be considered

I just don’t want us to [censored] this decision up.

We simply can’t afford to.

Yes obviously, but the club the new CEO takes over is light years away from the one PJ did. The fundamentals, plans and structures are in place. The troughs have been cleaned out. We no longer need a reformer or restructurer. We need someone to carry on PJ’s legacy.

The hard work (administratively) has been done. We need safe hands and an internal candidate makes sense now.

Can't fault Peter's efforts and results brought to the club during his 5 years or so.   A super effort, especially given where we were coming from.  Has steadied the ship and, at the very least, has us pointing in the right general direction.  In the next few years we just need the exact co-ordinates then to move the telegraph stick from all ahead half....to full.

Thanks Mr Jackson

In my long term experience scoreboard pressure and results normally determines success !

When he was appointed the fl og Ess fans I know thought it was hilarious as they didn’t rate him. They gave multiple examples (most escape me now) the major one being the Knights appointment.

We can look back on it now and know PJ was a star at Ess and an even bigger star at the Dees.

And in hindsight, maybe Matthew Knights was a better appointment than was realised at the time.

Would it be out of the realms of all possibility if they promote from within?

Wouldn't be shocked to hear Josh Mahoney's being promoted yet again...

I bet if PJ was at Ess in 2012 their experimental human laboratory on players would never have happened.  They lost plenty when PJ left, not the least of which was their moral compass.

Their loss was our gain.

I introduced myself to Peter, when the Dee's played the Lion's this year. My desire was and is to say thankyou for what he has achieved for the club, coaches, players and supporters. A good man and and should one day be awared legend status once the team wins its next flag.

Well done Peter Jackson!

Thank you Peter for turning the club around you will be missed. If the next CEO could be half as good as you we will be in good hands❤️

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
