Did you see us last week once it started to rain?

We probably should have given Jimmy bartell a 3 year contract instead of Lewis, if we're going to fallover to pieces whenever it rains

It was wet last week so we hopefully have learned something. I expect we will put in a strong showing and cause an upset....maybe because we have nothing to lose. Reminds me of the Adelaide game last season where we followed up brilliantly after a lame effort against the hawks. Then again we blew it again the following week. Need to bust these boom and bust cycles.

Melbourne are expecting their biggest crowd since 1964!

If we're winning and the game is in the bag, and the crowd flashed on the screen and it's 87k+, I expect all Melbourne supporters to cheer as loud as they can.

The FD should seriously reconsider Weids.  Fritsch much quick/cleaner by hand and a clean pair of heals in the wet.

Tracc takes on the role of Weids.

Late change pls

Looking forward to tonight's game and how the team responds.  If we come switched on, it's a very winnable game IMHO.  Had them on the hop in the corresponding game last year, when we lost both a ruckman and key forward in the first quarter, only just being overrun in the last quarter.

Hmmm , strategic visits to the Gents and the Bar will be required. Will be difficult to avoid rubbing shoulders with Tiges Tribe.

I think we'll struggle badly tonight. A hard tackling team that plays at high intensity around the ball is not what we like. Richmond's current playing style is built to demolish us.

I imagine we might start fairly well after last week's embarrassment and then fade under sustained pressure.

So who do we think plays on dusty in the goal square. Hibberd? Jones follow him all the way? Shirley not Vince?

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
