Suggest you need to go and get the information for yourself - I had too so I dont see why I should do the work for you.

I have a family member who lost everything on the horses. And i mean everything.

There is no difference between forms of gambling. The results are the same.

Do not tell me how to think Dr. W

Yeah I did. What you dont get it that Poker Machines revenues are what we are talking about - not sports betting revenues. But thats right you dont understand the difference so we are probably talking round in circles if you refuse to educate yourself.

No you're talking in circles because you keep shifting the goalposts. That's your MO, once you get called out on one thing go on to another. Next cab off the rank, blaming Melbourne supporters for missing the finals in 2017 ?

I'm sorry to hear about your family member, some people can be real" mug punters" at times (& I mean no offence by the term mug punter) .

I know many people in the professional sports business, I love football they love and work very hard in their chosen sport.

I can see how some people could lose every thing on those computer games designed to take their money. Not me. but I feel for those people.

But unlike you I dont put all forms of gambling into the same bucket - but I had to go learn that for myself

However, I respect your right to an opinion so maybe we agree to disagree. I sincerely hope your family member gets the help he needs.

Thank-you for your personal attack on me. I dont think you and me are ever going to see eye to eye.

I would prefer we spoke about ways to earn more money to build our club, build our brand, build our memberships, build our crowds. Im off to do that now.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
