Wasn't it Brendan Fevola's wife who was the calming influence behind his sensational 2006 performance when he won the Coleman Medal in a wooden spoon season for the Blues?

Well, now it seems that the relationship has soured.

You could say there's been a bit of a bingle there.

I think Carlton has more to worry about with the board overruling Pagen's decision on having Zantuck at the club.

RUMOUR:

Fevola and wife Alex have or about to split up,

Fevola has been [more moderation] Lara Bingle for 4 months, [moderator edit: we can't have unsubstantiated rumours such as the ones I deleted posted on Demonland, especially if they haven't been brought up in the media, as these could lead to problems for the site owners. Thanks]

Alex Fevola just found out while he was away.

The Price of Hubris

Melbourne: Queens Birthday 1965 until Round 22 1987 (and we have yet to win a Premiership, so this second date is questionable).

Richmond: Half-Time, 1982 Grand final to the Present.

Carlton: Round 1, 2002 with no end in sight. Their desert will last well over a decade.

Biffinator.

Fevolas wife was a stunner! Bingle is super hot, but its not like fev was on a bad wicket to begin with. A case of getting a bit too greedy i think.

If fevolas ex wanted to "saddle up" with me, i wouldnt have to think twice.

Sad news for their kid who didnt even make its 1st bday with its parents intact.

"I'm coming to Melbourne on Tuesday and I'd love you to pick me up, um, something or other...you got back with your wife and I can't believe you would do that...

For me to hear information like that...is not fair and is kind of sad on your behalf because I thought you were much better than that and I thought you had more respect for yourself."

An alleged excerpt from the alleged voice message allegedly left on Brendan Fevola's phone allegedly by Lara Bingle as alleged by the Herald Sun in the article allegedly entitled "ALEX CONFRONTS LARA" and allegedly written by an alleged journalist allegedly called Kim Wilson.

I trust this passes muster with the mods?

Doing the rounds...

"Why are you late home, Brendan?", asks the missus.

"I was in a Bingle", responds Brendan.

"What happened?" enquires the missus.

"It's okay dear, it was just a rear ender", boasts Brendan.

"Where'd it happen?" probes the missus.

"I was in Lara at the time", says Brendan.

We should note that the Bingle lady is denying everything.

That wouldn't be what her alleged sms's were saying.

I heard that Bingle was allegedly seeing Michael Clarke right now. Is that true?

(Just throwing in some "allegeds" just for legal safety)

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
