God we need this win. Massive in the context of our season.

It was great to see it 'click' in that quarter.

How bloody good has Pedersen been.

Far better than we could hope for.  You could argue that he is taking on a bloke past his prime, but his ability to run between the arcs and help at the stoppages has been invaluable today.  Let's hope he can finish it off.

Need to overrun them and win by 8-10 goals. Set us up for hawks next week

Best Q for the year from Captain Jack. Pedo has been great.

Vineys back....how many clearances did he get....!!

Pederson has to play every week in preference to Weideboy for the rest of the year.  Pedo has given more in 3/4's then Weid has given all year.

JKH has to go.

Spot on, Jack.  How good do we look when it goes all click together?  When it works, we can match it with anyone.

Could not agree more!!!

All hail the Bear.

He has been what we needed.

Where is Stuie with one of his wacky hashtags?

Wattsy!

Watts kicks his fourth!

He has been brilliant today, like he has been all season.

EDIT: As I type, Hannan extends the lead!

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
