All those slagging off Chunk last week I hope are suitably chastened

He was [censored] last week and let us down in an important game.

Dissapointing kick from Viney. Saying that, he's been holding Priddis magnificently well this quarter.

Awesome Max.

smarter tackling this wek

This crowd is stupid. Clear free to Vince

Costly misses. [censored]

Eagles fans are nauseating .

[censored] off umps!!!!! Holding Kent twice. No frees.

We wasted so many opportunities. I can't see us holding on sadly.

36-18 inside 50's. Really needed to capitalise on that more.

We've won two quarters.  Should be up by more but have not taken all opportunities and we've let them sneak some they shouldn't have.

Killing them in inside 50s.....just got to capitalize. Gee we are tackling so much better this week.

Look, we missed a few chances, but gee we are playing so much better than them.  They are a bunch of pretenders and we are giving them a slap at the minute, it's just a shame we haven't put that on the scoreboard.

Can we keep it up?  It's 50/50 for me.  If we can kick a few early ones then the confidence might skyrocket.

Eagles fans are now booing their own possessions.

We are killing them in general play and have twice as many inside 50's.  Will be shattered if we lose this.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
