The AFL are not happy...

Great.

Scott may have just cost himself a job...

I think you will find Shane Warnes camera man is responsible....

We were denied a PP on more than one occasion.

Been a mighty long time since we won 3 in a row....

Have a sneaky feeling this may be the week Leppitsch loses his job. Dead man walking. Don't listen to SF ET, double up on Leppitsch as first coach sacked.

And wouldn't that take the pressure of the AFL about the umpire comments /North Melbourne

So Brad Scott in retracting his sook states that North are not umpired differently to anyone else.......

Well replay the North Dees game DH

Precisely. We got shafted but it doesn't fit his narrative. He looks like a dill anyway. Now for the double with Chris Scott losing.

We are 9th now lol,  love your work Freo!

Freo win 3 in a row with a bunch of kids who have played 10 games or less

No reason the Demons cannot make finals if the really want it.

Brisbane are just horrible. I hate watching them play. Just about any other team would beat the Eagles today. They look ordinary as well.

Did Brisbane really just have 110 more possessions, win the contested possessions ND similar tackles and inside 50s, yet still lose by 8 goals?

Massive shout out to anyone who watched that in full.

Tell that to Bulldog supporters. What was it? 54?

Yeah, effing Dogs knocked us off in '54, preventing the subsequent three-peat becoming a cakewalk. Should cop as much as the filth do for stopping us in '58 ... :)

Now that Dangerfield has settled in at Geelong, they're looking super dangerous. They are going to absolutely destroy the Dogs tonight and have to be flag favourite.

The Cats are giving the Dogs an absolute bath!

Cats look terrifying but Dogs not doing themselves any favours at the end of some hard work

They're just under so much pressure. Most of their shots on goal are either hurried or from miles away.

Wow the cats are just putting on a clininc. Mind you the doggies haven't helped there cause by missing a lot of shots.

But I assuming the cats will go onto to win and win well.

On another funny note. Hasn't been a great weekend for nth and Brad Scott. They get beaten by hawthorn, Brad looks like a total loser today after the umpire comments and they will lose top spot.

Suddenly Freo have won 3 in a row. Heads up next fri night. Collingwood v Freo at the G. It may now be an intriguing game.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
