Pannel doesn't have a clue, i agree.

Funny what happens when our mids start playing smart football.

Defense has been poor, but not entirely their fault.

Dawes & Vince love these conditions. Love Tysons game so far. Dees back in front. Goal to Kent.

It wasn't flash, was it?  However if he just runs it over then he's pinged for it.

Yeah pretty obvious he needs to work on his pace.

He is a god in the wet, sharp mind and others slow to his pace.

Dry is a different story.

Vince is doing a really great job on Mitchell. This is when he's at his absolute best. Tagging great players, annoying them and getting a lot of ball himself.

And with that we hit the front!

He's made a couple of mistakes Wise, but he's doing ok.

I agree, mate.  Kids all make mistakes but he's done some good things as well which has been terrific to see.

I might be biased but I thought he was stiff.  Took maybe 3 steps and got tackled.

Having said that if it was in our forward line I'd be screaming for it to be paid.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
