Cripps is going to be one of those opposition players I will enjoy watching play against any team but Melbourne.

And he played well against us in that un-loseable game last year.

Frightening to think of Cripps and Hogan together in one of the WA teams (and I bet they're plotting, the bastards).

It's a bit of a myth that Cripps is slow.  Anyone remember how quick he looked last year out of the centre square when he monstered Melbourne ?  I've watched him a lot since then and he's not slow.  Even on Thursday night he didn't look slow when he ran into goal.

So I thought I'd dig back to when he was drafted and I found an interesting comment:

"Cripps also has some toe that serves him well when shifted to a wing or across half back."
