Funny that the AFL warns Schools about employing any of the 34, then turns around and lets one paying it money to do just that.

They should use this as an example of hypocrisy in Dictionaries !!

I wonder if there is a 'journalist' anywhere who'd be willing to point this out.

Hell even a Titus O'Reilly tweet wouldn't go stray.

AFL Tonight looks like it's got a good line up. Might finally get some decent footy news out of Fox Footy now.

Hopefully. I'll be watching that at 7:00 and finding something else to do at 7:30.

Robbo: (Burps) Dyso I imagine it just be really hard on you boys (small beer burp) waking up in the morning and just getting on with it, being innocent and all.

Heppell: Yehhhh naahhhhh yeh sort of like you just wake up and yeh but na the boys are all yehhh.

I made the mistake of watching Heppell on the Footy Show once before, he really is a ditz. One less fox footy show to tune into now.

Perhaps Heppell's role is to make Robbo appear articulate?

Just cancelled my Fox Footy subscription.  Told them on the phone and via email that they dont take sport seriously as they are hiring drug cheats fresh off a WADA ban.

Back to free streaming sites for me.

Don't know if it is a disgrace, but it is a poor choice, when there are so many active players to choose from.

Would Lance Armstrong commentating with  Phil Liggett on the Tour be a disgrace??

For those that have Foxtel and still want to keep the service...lets face it they do cover a lot of our games this year.

Personally I've sacked "360", won't waste my time with it this year with Heppell on board and have lodged a complaint.

Don't just whinge about it on here, make your feelings known. They will talk through their pockets...

Damn, only works for current customers. I was going to write in there that I was considering purchasing Foxtel until the appointment of Heppell.

Oh well.

Just call them and tell them.  The guy I spoke to on the phone sounded like he agreed with what I was doing... obviouslyt he couldn't say it cos its his job, but I could tell he hated the drug cheating scum as much as me.

Expanding that twitter convo, AzzKikA, reveals A LOT of people who share your opinon.

Seems like Fox Footy hasn't responded to any of them though.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
