ok then use pick 94 Dees! yeah!

Thanks DD

Could very well be used to upgrade either of vDB or Harmes, so it will be quite valuable!

So are we now sitting with GWS to get 7 we give them 10 & 43 50 for 7 &Bugg

That would just about get us what we want.

Didn't Mahoney say we won't be trading picks 3 or 10? I doubt GWS will part with this pick as well as giving up Bugg.

Any news on this?

10 to pick 7 involving Bugg is a done deal according to Purple & Wallet.

It's all happening!

Now we need to go for the kill and get 4 and 5

Well played Mr Mahony, well played.

We won't trade picks No.3, No.10: Mahoney

I like it when he lies.

Now we need to go for the kill and get 4 and 5

Err no.

Has anyone seen or heard from Olisik lately? All this pick upgrading and points scoring would be sending him in to a frenzy.

Agr picked neeld's exit - bind freddy could have guessed

picked Roos early and first - potentially solid.

Jake Lever a lock at pick 3 - fail

Dangerfield and Kennedy are dees - fail

Trading pick 3 and 10 now - not looking good.

GNF didnt just pick Neelds exit, he said when it will happen

He gave an exact play by play with Roos from around 6 months before it happened. He called absolutely everything that happened long before anyone else, including the media

GNF never ever said Lever at pick 3. In fact he said the opposite. He claimed Roos rates him and would like to trade for a later first rounder to get him but that was it. In fact here is his EXACT post:

Also not sure that Roos does not rate Patrrica, I think there is an expectation he will go 1. I don't expect Roos to go for Lever over maccatrin. But I don't know this. All I know is that Roos rates Lever, perhaps not as high as 3. Time will tell. Personally I would go for maccatrin assuming Patrrica is gone. Brayshaw a lock in

So he got that one spot on

And finally he never ever said Dangerfield and Kennedy are dees. Hes said were working hard to get deals for them. Melbourne tried hard for Danger last year but obviously didnt happen. GNF even said the deal died when we could no longer trade Trengove which was completely unexpected

By this logic youre saying he has said Prestia will 100% be a dee when in reality is he said Melbourne are working hard to make it happen

Whether he is right or wrong is also irrelevant when you consider some of the abuse given to him when he makes a post. Everyone can be wrong and things change. To abuse someone for that is so childish you would wonder what some grown men are doing on a message board

Id take the one or two things hes wrong about to keep hearing about the good stuff about the club like getting Roos or finding out who we are targeting. If people interpret him telling us who we are working on as "were 100% getting" then hes not the problem

Keep posting GNF, Appreciate the updates

Jeezers, I was only a minute too late!

  • GAMEDAY: Fremantle

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

A month is a long time in AFL football. The proof of this is in the current state of the two teams contesting against each other early this Saturday afternoon at the MCG. It’s hard to fathom that when Melbourne and Fremantle kicked off the 2025 season, the former looked like being a major player in this year’s competition after it came close to beating one of the favourites in the GWS Giants while the latter was smashed by Geelong to the tune of 78 points and looked like rubbish. Fast forward to today and the Demons are low on confidence and appear panic stricken as their winless streak heads towards an even half dozen and pressure mounts on the coach and team leadership.  Meanwhile, the Dockers have recovered their composure and now sit in the top eight. They are definitely on the up and up and look most likely winners this weekend against a team which they have recently dominated and which struggles to find enough passages to the goals to trouble the scorers. And with that, Fremantle will head to the MCG, feeling very good about itself after demolishing Richmond in the Barossa Valley with Josh Treacy coming off a six goal haul and facing up to a Melbourne defence already without Jake Lever and a shaky Steven May needing to pass a fitness test just to make it onto the field of play.
