2015 FINALS

You would think he would wait until at least after the Crows B&F.

Damnn, just missed that.

I don't trust that Dalziel guy though.

Hey you were right 'twas Dalziel what did the Vicar in after all.

If he has any class it will be after the GF. Let the game itself be the focus over the next couple of weeks.

Yes and no.

Everyone knows he's gone so it's not a massive surprise.

Does anyone think he might do a Buddy and wind up somewhere else other than the Cats?

And the mighty Hawks do it again.

Nothing quite like the sight of roasted Crows.

The best sight in football is seeing the Crows thumped.

Dangerfield will announce he is coming to the MFC next Friday in the biggest surprise of 2016.

You heard it here first.

Anyone else watching "A Football Life" on 7 mate. Some great stories about individual and team brilliance in the NFL.

Did you pull an all nighter OD? Any sauce with that roasted crow??

No but a nice Malbec fits well.

You throw away the crow and drink the wine!

North can win it this year. West Coast have a bit of a undermanned defence. Won't be able to cover Petrie, Brown, and Waite.

Compare this to the way Hawthorn dismantled Adelaide last night and there is a big gap. I have a feeling it might be a Hawthorn v West Coast granny, but hoping for an all WA affair.

Sydney are cooked. But what can we expect with roughly a quarter of their salary cap on the sidelines.

Edited by Forest Demon

I hate these 2 teams so much, it's nearly half time and I still can't decide who I want to win.

Goodes and the Swannies looked cooked.

It is a bit like watching a good VfL match, let's face it they are both second tier compared to to the WA teams and the Dawks.

Melbourne would be three goals up against either team.

Nah. We would’ve gotten blown away by quarter time and spent the rest of the game catching up.

Where are the howls of criticism for garbage football like this in finals?

Or is that just reserved for teams like us?

Woeful game of football.

An early night is looking more appealing than staying up to watch the last quarter, goodnight folks.

Norf are getting all the 50/50s

OMG I hate seeing the crosses to the Norf (and Cats) box when those twin prjcks get a free against their team. Whinging bastards.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
