Well im going and taking my dad and other members of my family are going. I have no expectations today. I will just sit there and hopefully Hogan can do a few nice things. I hope there are no injuries to our key players that will hurt us and its a good game. Maybe Howe could take one last speccy for us.

Jack Watts, a late inclusion, dominates the game and sets up five of Hogan's seven goals.

And also kicks a lazy five himself!

Would not be suprised if this is the last time we see Howe, Grimes & possibly Garland as their last game with the Dees

Is Watts playing?

He hasn't lined up for Casey, the mystery deepens!

The Giants are favourites. Says it all really

2015 a failed year sadly....

What does it say the Giants are very much up and coming and will end with either 11 or 12 wins for the season,

They will be favourites every time we play them over the next few years

The AFL'S baby and the draft riches they were given have seen the creation of what will be a very powerful team from 2017 and beyond

Watts isn't playing

NO LATE CHANGES
FINAL INTERCHANGES
Melbourne: Angus Brayshaw, Ben Newton, Viv Michie
Substitute: Alex Neal-Bullen

If the Casey game is a final he's ineligible.

They said Watts and the Toump are late withdrawals on the TV, so he must be eligible

I have no idea then! According to the rules you need to have played a minimum of 6 VFL matches if you have played an AFL game after July 1 to play VFL finals.

I would have liked to see Watts out there today.

Does anyone know whether the game will be on free to air TV today. There was an ad on TV the other day indicating the game would be shown on 7 mate but it isn't appearing on the TV guide.

Does anybody know whether a MFC/MCC membership gets you access today?

Apparently it does but I cannot find my MFC card.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
