Not unless he's a defrocked Christian Brother dc.

it looks more classy and sophisticated though bbo, if you slip in the extra 'a'

Do you think Biffaen would work?

Maybe you could remove one of your Ts and become Biter But Optimistic. More fitting really.

Do you think Biffaen would work?

don't think he's ever worked a day in his life bittaers

he usually gets others to do his filthy work

Maybe we could start calling him Pedersen, just for a laugh?

Now you just being really pederdantic Nasher

guess we could just call him peds then?

got a nice ring to it

Except that P E D's are a no-no! :o

Don't see anything there suggesting Pedo is in trouble

Agreed... quite the opposite in fact as Roos was very complimentary regarding Pedersen's efforts in the games in which he took part.

Surely there's a better nickname for Pederson.

The final installment: Mid-season Review: Spencer to White

Another frank, no frills assessment from Roos.

If all the players in this report (except Terlich and White) play at least to their recent standard, we are in for some good football for the last 10 games!

The File?

Beat me to it. So would that be the Pedder File?

It seems like Roosy is almost as confident about the prospects of some of our players in the back half of the season as many Demonlanders. If he (we) are close to the money, we can look forward to an exciting ride. Bring it on!

I really like the reviews. But really to be honest I am sick of the overuse of the redundant word "really". It keeps showing up from assistant coaches to Roos and has been overused for years by our coaches. What is it about the word really?

Nice words about Spencer and Toumpas there.

Interesting with Tyson, noting 'his commitment now to defence is really good' (i.e. his commitment before to defence was not).

I really don't know. Do you really mean that? Really? :)

(PS Funny how virtually is not the opposite of really :blink: )

No, it is a tautology.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
