Is that Jack Watts' crackin gags at training?

Disgusting isn't it...

All top 3 draft picks in that photo.

It shows how much talent we now have.

Wish they would stop crackin gags though.

Viney beating up McDonald is no laughing matter.

boys will be boys.

Good to see training getting real. For far too long its been seen as playtime in the park. Now all and sundry might take a step back, have a think about what it is to play footy, for real, at the top level and get on with it.

Hopefully Jack saves some 'angry stuff' for opposition players !!

Jacko was/is a little bit 'special'

Viney was just his usual overenthusiastic self.

I thing we have some antler rucking here that's all.

We move on

Watts said. " who wants to play on the forward line with me."

They both responded uproariously" Effin kiddin"

I don't think anyone would have believed you if you'd said that by 2016 there would only be three of those players left on our list and six of them no longer in the AFL.

For me, it's clearly a by-product of the standards Viney is setting and the culture the club is trying to foster.

I can remember watching training under Bailey and Neeld and the players were stuffing about by playing tricks and games on one-another throughout the session and individual drills. Where's your head at when you're behaving like that?

What you do at training....

No wonder the coaches keep reinforcing the behaviour rhetoric.

Viney could've been given instruction to ruffle Tommys feathers for all we know.

The more competitive the team becomes, the more battle hardened individuals will need to become.

All that talent and not one A grader, maybe Frawley and he is gone. Who is the guy between Blease and Maric?

I want to know how those matchstick legs managed to hold up the rest of Mortons body

It's stunning how we managed to stuff up so many first round draft picks from that period - whether it be the player selected, development or otherwise.

The club seems to have landed on the right formula now: hard body and ultra competitive character. Roos' non negotiables.

Nah Watts said to Trac and Hulk "No seriously guys, I was the #1 pick"

He kicked 40 goals in his second season he can write he's own cheque, personally I think the AFL should look into some of Fremantles dealings there morals are extremely low.

Oh, yeah.  The "Integrity Branch" or whatever joke name they give it will do their usual under table, under carpet brushing.

Why duck for cover.  Does anyone doubt he will be better than Stringer

So many non-competitive players drafted around that time. Scary really.

Thank christ the total opposite is happening under Roos.

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
