Swap Howe for Aish that's a fair deal and both club keep there draft picks

Will be hard to do given Aish plays for Brisbane.

Nathan Freeman and Collingwood's 2 nd rounder for Howe may get it done.

I would take that, although Collingwood's 3rd round pick would probably be more realistic.

Buckley said when they were talking about Howe on 360 that one clubs trash is another clubs treasure , hate to see him running amok at the pies.

Yeah borderline 2nd or 3rd. Freeman has had many injury issues. We need a midfielder with a good turn of pace. I'd trust Misson to get him right,

Freeman isnt what we need or should want In fact Pies have no body i would actively seek Typical Melbourne deal

Collingwood have thrown their hat into the ring for Melbourne's Jeremy Howe. - SEN

Well this is good. I think. It raises the chances of getting something half way handy for Howe

Seedsman?

Howe was interested in being traded to Collingwood last year. Wouldn't want Seedsman really considering that the club is after competitors and Seedsman is soft as butter.

Jamie Elliot?

They would never let him go but could fill the forward role we all want Howe to actually fill. Plus we would be in with the running for mark of the year still!

Why would we want Freeman. I hear mostly negative reports of under performing and soft.

sounds like the old 'we'll get something decent but you get 2 NQRs' trick!!

This news that the pies are interested would be music to Jeremy's ears!!

I think this is where he has wanted to get to the whole time

I've heard this too, but surely it's hard to perform when you don't get on the park. Barely played in his two years, would have thought it's difficult to make an incredibly well formed assessment based on his time at Collingwood.

Wouldn't mind Freeman, but would ask about Kennedy first. Otherwise, 2nd rounder would probably have to do.

Howe to the Filth

Freeman to the Aints

Nathan Wright to the Dees?

Disposal isn't great, but tough as nails, runs hard and has a good turn of pace.

Like Wright, wouldn't be too displeased with that outcome, but don't know if the Saints would do that deal.

Get the feeling that the Dee's have asked Ben Niall to get a feel for the market and what contracts are being put up before offering ours. I still think we're aiming to lowball him and move him on, just needed offers to come first.

Lol Howe is not worth a first rounder

its DC humour....very dry and subtle... It would be what the Filth would ask of us if the other way around !!

They can have Chris Dawes and H back as well as Howe if they give us anyone who is remotely good.

He was last year. Depending on the amount of interest, we could get a mid/late first rounder for him.

There's no doubt that the FD are pushing Howe out btw...

Agreed re: Kennedy, he wouldn't be a bad get running down a wing. Didn't Adelaide nearly take him instead of Crouch in that mini draft?

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
