All sounds far too fishy for mine. Bound to be a large amount of squid involved in this deal. Will be gutted if it doesn't come off ...

clear as squid ink atmo.

Hope we can seal the deal before somebody else sharks him.

we should be fishing for dangerlfield but not abaloney fishing, proper fishing and we might reell him in on our fishing rod and cook him on the barbeque

I guess we should stop harpooning on about this but that ship has sailed.......

Would have more of an effect if there was a picture of a minnow in the background rather than a moray eel.

Holy mackerel, only 12 more pages of fish puns until the Danger trade goes down. That's a small price to pay, I suppose.

I rarely believe anything on facebook, but some guy on that same dangerfield facebook page just claimed that there will be a big announcement Friday night.

His source was that he is good friends with Doc Weildon who is pretty close with Roosy these days.

You beat me to it - I must admit this Andrew guy has been around a while and I cant recall any other dodgy predictions.

He did say that his phone call to Doc Weildon reported that Roos had told him that the tides are turning for the dees and that there will be news announced by friday that will make every melbourne supporter happy.

Boner...

Not sure if fish pun or legitimate quote...

A good boner cannot be underestimated.

I like my fillets bone free.

You must not be familiar with a joke face.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
