Another Neeld problem we have to cop

Majestic from Deano. Misses sitters but then does something like that.

Far out Kent! But that goal half belongs to Chris Dawes. Big forwards don't need to take marks to be worth their pay.

Our disposal seems much better today. Could that be the Jack Grimes omission/injury?

Great stuff from Kent.

3AW big on Terlich's courage and defensive endeavour, which is good.

Sounds like we're committing far too many turnovers, as per usual.

Dean Kent is progressing nicely. Great speed and backs himself on the run.

It seems like we concede the most leading marks inside d50 of any team in the comp. We never play in front of our man.

so typical of Melbourne to give up cheap late goal after the siren

Watts yet again hasn't shown up to play

At quarter time, Martin was the leading possession-winner, the leading contested possession-winner and the leading clearance-winner.

Jetta is a tackling monster. He grabs onto blokes like his life depends on it.

Let the Demonland circle jerk begin.

Tyson is class.

Tapscott...need to nail those to hold his spot

More like the Demonland self-flagelation session.

Tapscott is showing a bit today. Wish he could kick a bit better tho......

Gee sounds like Bail is having a shocker today. Have heard at least three mistakes from him (radio always makes it hard though).

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
