GAME DAY - Round 14

Featured Replies

Just saw a preview of Bernie Vince's interview. Have to say, I like him even more after seeing it. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

If we beat them Essendon go into the 8 Hmmmmmm lets beat them anyway

I have long thought that we will not be reborn completley until we can beat sides like north regularly Time to start Go dees

By my maths. (which has never been very good) If we beat them by 11 pts or less, North will remain in 8th spot.

I have a bottle of vodka and dinner riding on this.

Stakes have never been higher!

Also I despise North and it's about time we beat them.

I'm not confident but hopeful.

Not to confident today but i'm happy it ain't at Etihad. Sick of this time slot cheers AFL. I would love to have us control the game and kick straight so I don't have a heart attack this week.

What's with the commentators referring to the interchange bench as "the dugout" last time I check we play AFL and not American Baseball.

Apologies for going a little off topic btw, wasn't sure if this was relatively new or they've been referring to it as this for some time?

Take 'em out back and shoot 'em. Disgraceful!

Would be nice if it were legal to shoot someone for being an @sshole wouldn't it??

Riley as sub, good call. Brings on fresh legs and tackling pressure for the last quarter.

My North Melb supporting mate says they turn to jelly when pressured heavily by the opposition. Hence their bizarre win/loss games this year.

Here's hoping we go out there and tackle our asses off.

Wouldn't mind Riley not being the sub so he can lay some more of those hard tackles.

well the storm won easily, the vixens got up and won the grand final so to finish of the 3 peat melbourne will win today.

Plus GWS won so we need the win to jump them again on the ladder.

Scary thought Luke Beveridge taking over from Paul Roos in 2 years. Hope it's not Mark Neeld all over again. Inspiration. Mark Thompson and don't deviate in the hope of saving $.

I have but one simple ask of our Dees: Dont give this mob a qtr's head start !!!!

This time slot just shows the contempt that the AFL have for supporters who have young families.

Judging by the crowd so far we'll be lucky to crack 20k.

for this timeslot....and the teams...not too bad Id say

It's to suit foxtel. They couldn't care less about attendance at the game.

PLAY-BY-PLAY: Sandy Roberts + Anthony Hudson
SPECIAL COMMENTS: Gerard Healy + Jason Dunstall

Surely this is the best commentary team currently possible on TV. A far cry from Dwayne Russell's garbage from last week.
