Buckley bahahaha

Well if my boss carried on like that to me in front of others I'd be putting forward a complaint of bullying. It was very unprofessional and a fast way to get a lot of his players offside.

One of the basic fundamental rules of managing people is that you give criticism behind closed doors.

Only one way from here for collongwood while Buckley is in charge and it's decently not up!

Thought it was pretty messed up too, but then I thought it was just me. I'm glad to hear everyone else thinks he went over the line too.

I think it's awesome you would put forward a bullying complaint...

Thanks for the link, Chook.

Not a great look, even if the player could have gone harder in the contest. Personally, I think Bucks was just embarassed that a short guy got the mark.

What? Can't a coach give a player a spray anymore?

Getting a too precious if anyone has a problem with that

Hopefully Bucks knows whether Witts is the kind of player who responds to treatment like that. I know I would much prefer to be told what I did wrong, and what to do next time. Maybe Witts just needs a kick in the arse, and maybe Bucks knew that.

witts responded. he played better and kicked 2 goals. Maybe some players can handle that and respond to it. While for others it just crumbles them.

But yeah it wasnt a good look and I guess it was a build up of frustration from bucks.

For me, the verbal spray isn't the issue. It is the putting the hands on the player (grabbing the jumper) that is.

think i might lodge a complaint with Worksafe Victoria.

If an essendope supporter can lodge one why not

DC, who would even joke about following the lead of such a supporter?

Did Buckley have blood on his hands?

Why?

He didn't attack him, didn't assault him and didn't threaten him.

If a footballer can't handle that then it's time for the boy to walk away from a game of men.

It was a coach getting stuck into a player. You wouldn't have had a problem if Ron barrassi did it.

As I said, too precious

Did Buckley have blood on his hands?

No, but I didn't like the look of him grabbing the jumper. Doesn't bother me if I'm the only one.

Really IMO nothing wrong with what he did, gave the player a good serve for not going hard enough. Sometimes you have to draw the line and the basic rules of management is not everything relating to criticism has to be done behind closed doors

The rule is about being flexible different players respond to different methods.

Absolutely nothing in it. Too many precious people here.
